One year ago today we left our home in Honduras and returned to the States. It was one of the most heart wrenching days of our lives. It was a blessing, and a privilege to serve the Lord in the mission field for two years. To be a part of what He is doing in the lives of so many in Roatan.

Our hearts still long to be reunited with so many that we came to love. We see your faces in our minds, we carry you and your families in our hearts and our prayers. May God bless you, may you fix your eyes upon Jesus, and may you walk with Him all the days of your lives.

Our heart's desire is to return to the mission field... we still do not understand what the Lord's plan is in all of this... but we trust in Him, and we wait on Him... we pray He will one day open the door for us to serve Him again full time in the ministry.

If you want to get a glimpse of our hearts... take a few moments to watch the video and please lift up the people of Roatan, Honduras in prayer. They are beautiful, and oh, how Jesus loves them.

My Favorite Flower...

I fell in love with peonies from photographs.  For years they have been my favorite flower, yet I had never gotten to see them in person.  Last week I found some and got to truly experience them for the first time.  They move my soul with their beauty.
I had a wonderful time photographing them.  Here are a couple of my favorite images.

Beach Money ~

I have always been the creative, entrepreneurial type at heart. I have tried more than once at different business ventures, but it was just not what I was searching for, and it never turned into much.

Today I started reading a book called, Beach Money.  It is a book about Network Marketing.  In the past when I would read something like this book, I would be so inspired as it painted a picture of financial freedom and I would be shouting, "Yes! Yes!! YES!!!" within my mind.  But then I would think, "OH, if only I had the right business... If only I knew a good company... If only I had a great product that could benefit people!  If only..."
I would want it so bad it hurt because I was pumped and ready to go, but did not have what I needed to make it happen.  I would pray and ask the Lord for direction, to lead me to what He wanted for me.  I was praying for help with our finances once again in January.  Asking Him for a way to earn an income from home so I can stay home with my kids.  Little did I know that He was going to lead me to the business I have been hoping for all of my adult life.

I am overflowing with enthusiasm, hope, inspiration, and determination.  For the first time in my life I HAVE IT!  I actually have the right company, with the right products, at the right time!!! THIS IS IT! THIS IS THE REAL THING, and I am blown away at what my family's future holds! The best part is that I am doing a job that I love, that is helping people change their lives with the help of natural, plant based products that have changed mine.  God has answered my prayers and I am taking control of my health and finances with the help of Plexus.

We are going to obtain financial freedom for our family through our business.   Financial freedom looks  different for different people.  For me it means no more living paycheck to paycheck. To be able to get the things we need without  worrying about it.  Even being able to get things we want.  It means that I am able to help a friend when they are in need.  To continue ministries the Lord has placed in our hearts.  To help families bring their children home from far away lands. I want to bring home the little ones I carry in my heart. I want to take my children to Disney Land, and send my husband to the Holy Land. I want to go on mission trips once again to Peru, Russia, and Roatan to be reunited with so many we love. To go wherever the Lord calls us.   I want our family to return to the mission field one day, with the support of my income from Plexus...  and I want to do all of these things while helping others change their lives too.

I thank God that I am on my way to financial freedom.  God led me to this business, it is His and I am over the moon excited about His plans for my family, and for all those whose lives are going to be changed by Plexus too.

Look around you... Are you living the life you dreamed of?  Is the life you are living reflective of what you believe is God's best for you?  Or are you trudging along, day by day... struggling to make ends meet?

Don't pass up this opportunity... Join my team!  Invest $34.95 in your family's future to join Plexus as an Independent Ambassador.  You will get your personal products at wholesale prices.  You will be overjoyed at the improvement to your health.  It even helps you lose weight and inches if you need to.  It can help you get healthy from the inside out!  If that were not enough... you can earn an income from home by just posting on FB about your experience with Plexus, and sharing how it has helped you, and others... Or you can jump all in, and really commit yourself to sharing with others and the sky is the limit!  You do not have to buy inventory.  Your customers order directly from the website Plexus gives you.  The company mails the products directly to your customers.  This company's comp plan is unprecedented.  They actually look out for their ambassadors and we all work together as a team to train, and support each other.  You can do this!  Just take that first step.

My job, my business, is helping people by sharing how Plexus has changed my life so that they will know about Plexus too and it can change theirs as well.  With the Lord's help, I am going to obtain financial freedom for my family and all the things, and dreams the Lord has put on my heart!

Yes friends... THAT is Beach Money!

(I just want to add that although I was inspired by the beginning of this book, as I continued to read it, I found that I do not agree with the author's mindset on some important issues.  I do not believe sending positive thoughts, vibes, etc out into the universe is going to create the outcome I want.  I am a Christian, and I do not endorse that line of thinking.)

My Battle With Depression

I have battled with depression since I was a little girl. In my late teens and through my middle twenties, (before I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior) the state of depression was my comfort zone and I would actually nurture it, because it was what was familiar to me. Thankfully since becoming a Christian I do not welcome depression any longer, it is not longer my comfort zone... but, I still battle with it. Each time it starts to move in, like dark storm clouds gathering over me, and around me, I find I start beating myself up with condemnation. "You are a Christian! You have been set free in Christ! Why are you "allowing" yourself to feel depressed?!!!" I just want to say, that the Lord did set me free. He set me free from condemnation and the last thing Jesus wants me to do is beat myself up over this. As Christians, we often feel quite vulnerable when we share with others about our struggles... if we share with a non believer, we sometimes feel like we are letting God down, that others are judging Who this Jesus is by our actions, by our lives... or if we share with fellow believers, sometimes we get, "Are you praying enough? Are you doing this or that enough? You need to give it to Jesus!" etc. etc. Which the enemy can use to pile on the condemnation. We also often believe that we are the only one who suffers from this. I am so thankful for the many times that the Holy Spirit showed me great men of God who battled depression too, like David. I am in good company. I will tell you that often when I pray for the Lord to help me with depression, He does and I am better for a while... Often when I really start to just praise and worship Him the depression lifts... but then there are times when it threatens to swallow me up.... and I pray, and I try and I can't seem to come out of it... I have been depressed for several months now. I have been praying for help for this and for some other things as well... As hard as I tried to fight it, to resist it, it remained my constant companion. Years ago I took an anti depressant for about a year. My doctor told me that it was mild and non addictive. Since the time that I went off of it I have these little mini seizures that are kind of like when you are falling asleep and jerk awake. I am awake, but I can feel it coming, and my body jerks. The neurologist ran many tests and finally told me that all he could do is put me on seizure medication that would mask the symptoms but not take care of the cause... so I opted to forgo the medication. All this to say that 12 years later I still have these little seizures and because of my experience, I am not willing to go on anti depressants anymore, so they were not an option. Soooo as I was saying, I have been praying, asking the Lord for help to get me out of the depression and also help with other things as well... my health, and with finances. My friend Lynn kept posting about this pink drink called Plexus Slim and I kept reading about all of these people who were being helped with many of the health issues I have... brain fog, severe allergies, arthritis, fatigue, depression, anxiety, etc. Finally I thought, maybe I don't have to settle for my current state of health... maybe it is not just who I am, because I am getting older... so I tried it... This is only day 5 on the Tri-Plex Combo and the depression has lifted! I have more energy, I am not as irritable and moody. I am coming out of this brain fog, I have less pain. My arthritis is better than it's been in years and I am not stiff. I can actually get off the chair without pushing myself up... I have even been doing it sometimes without thinking about it. And I am loosing weight which I really wanted to do, but in comparison to the health issues, I am even more excited about the way I feel.... Plexus is changing my life... I am getting ME back... I had almost accepted that the fun, bubbly Daleea was of the days of yor.... lol I was a total skeptic! I thought how can this stuff possibly help? Then I started researching about Candida. I found that I have many of the symptoms, auto immune diseases, and conditions that your body can suffer from when you have a Candida infection. We all have a small amount of it in our body to help with decomposition when the time is right, but if we have ever taken an antibiotic we are susceptible to our bodies being overrun with this Candida fungus because the antibiotic also kills off the good bacteria that helps to combat these little beasties. Once I learned that 80% of our health and immune system begins in our gut. It started to make sense. No wonder I was a mess. Then I learned that the gastrointestinal (GI) tract produces over 95% of the body’s serotonin – the body’s natural “Feel Good Hormone”. So I am asking myself, why then are doctors focusing on anti depressants that deal with the serotonin in the brain, when the focus needs to be on good gut health that produces almost all of the serotonin. By ridding the body of Candida, and replenishing the good flora, helping your colon to get in a healthy state, your body is able to begin to function the way that God designed it to. AND, Plexus is helping me do it the natural way without horrible side affects! I am thanking God for answering my prayers for help. I truly believe that He is the One Who led me to this product, to this co. and only 5 days in, I am getting myself back. Every time I start to think about my physical and metal state just a short time ago, and how I feel now... I feel like I am going to start to cry with tears of joy and relief... and gratitude. I am so thankful I did not settle, thinking that was my reality and it was just the way it was and was going to be. If anyone has taken the time to read all of this, first I want to thank you... although it leaves me feeling vulnerable sharing about my battle with depression, when I found something that helped me with that and with so many other things too, how can I not put myself out there to tell others that it could help them too! Please message me if you any questions. If I don't know the answer I will try to find out for you... and if you know of someone who struggles with depression I encourage you to be gentle... it is so easy to judge someone, to think they are being weak, or whatever may go through our minds. I am telling you that when you are battling something that is trying to swallow you up, it takes strength to get out of bed in the morning... to take care of your family, go to work, etc... and when our body is out of whack, it can cause a state of turmoil in all aspects of our life. It's not just a "state of mind" or a "state of spirit".... and now I am going to end this book. Please be gentle in your comments if you have something to say about depression, or about me.... Thank you. :) God's blessings and God's healing to you... post signature

Taking Back My Life!

For a very long time now, I have felt like I only get glimpses of myself.  Each day I trudge through... battling constant fatigue, brain fog, poor memory, irritability, pain and stiffness from arthritis.  My allergies and sinuses have gotten so bad over the last few years that they are a source of torment throughout the day and the night.  It has gotten to the point that I have asthmatic symptoms now too.  I struggle with depression and anxiety, I am over weight.   The list goes on and on...
I am sick and tired of being sick and tired...
I turn 50 at the end of April and I am no longer willing to accept just making it through one day at a time... I want to LIVE my life!  I want to be healthier, to feel well enough that I am able to be a better wife and mother.  I have been praying, I have been researching, and I believe the Lord has led me to Plexus.  For the first time in a long time I have hope that I am going to have a better quality of life.
I think these little beasties have been the culprit~ Candida
If you have ever taken an antibiotic it not only kills the bad bacteria, but kills the good too and leaves you vulnerable to the Candida in your body to get out of control.
Here is a partial list of symptoms and diseases that Candia yeast overgrowth can cause~
I have been addicted to sugar since I was a child and I have found out that Candia loves sugar!  It causes your body to CRAVE it!

When I decided to try Plexus I was so excited at the prospect of taking back my life.  Then I realized that by becoming a Plexus Ambassador, I would not only get my products at a wholesale price, but I would be better able to share with others about these amazing products that can help them too. In doing so it could help generate income to pay for my products and to help my family.  (It is only $34.95 to join!) I would love for you to join my team.  I have a special little gift for each one of you who joins my team in the month of Feb.
If you decide you just want to try it out, it comes with a 60 day money back guarantee!  You can't go wrong giving it a go!  If you order your products as a Preferred Customer, you get a great discount, and you can cancel at any time.
Any way you go, Plexus is a win win situation.

Please visit my site to find out more about these wonderful products.  If you have some of the symptoms above, I highly recommend the Tri-Plex Combo.  Mine is on the way and I can't wait to get started! Please leave a comment, or email me if you have any questions.  God's blessings, and good health to you.

Join me on this adventure to better health and take back your life!

Peep Loves Paris ~

Just like her mama... she loves the Eiffel Tower, the language and the culture.  She loves French Poodles, (I love French Bulldogs).  We love the architecture of Paris.  When I was 13 or 14 I spent two wonderful days in Paris... how I long to go back with my Peep and Pearl.  We go there together often in day dreams... perhaps one day we shall truly get to experience Paris together.

My Little Froggie...

Oh, how I love my little Froggie. She makes my heart smile...
When her mask broke and I asked her if she wanted a pretty pink mask, or a little froggie mask?  Bella chose the froggie.  So glad my little girl still likes little girl stuff.  I love that she likes froggies, just like her mama!

A Lovely Surprise...

One day while I was exploring on the island of Roatan I discovered this lovely flower growing on vines that cascaded down the tree's trunk and branches.  The first time I wandered upon it, it took my breath away...

Mood Board~ Dream Little One... Dream...

I love Mood Boards...  They are just a happy place for me.  They inspire me.  I love Pinterest as well.  I have boards on Pinterest that are filled with an array of lovely images that inspire creativity, daydreams, photography, and the list goes on.  One of my favorite boards is "Essence of White".  I created this mood board using some of the images I have collected there.  My two beautiful daughters were the inspiration for this board... they love Paris, Princesses, and Ballet.  The beauty of their hearts and their dreams are an inspiration to me.
Come and visit my Pinterest, and see some of the other beautiful images in Essence of White, or open one of the other boards like "Sea of Pink", or "Whispers of Aqua".... Find your favorite color and come on in.... I know you will find beauty...  I hope you find inspiration too.
If you create a mood board, please share with me.  I would love to see it.

This is how we wash our clothes.... wash our clothes... wash our clothes...

"Hey everybody, we are here at the laundromat and boy do we have some work to do!"

"Hymmmmmm.... this may prove more challenging than I thought..."

"This calls for a little song, and a happy attitude..."

"Everything's better when you have a Good Attitude...  It's true..."

"How about a little less picture taking Mama so we can fly this coop!"

"Things will go much faster with a little help from Daddy..."

"Hey look Mama!  Daddy' got bit by the camera bug too!"

"Soon they will be dry and we will be off to the Soft Play at the mall..."

"Ok... this is taking longer than I thought it would..."

"Hmmmmmm... I know what can make this wait better!"

"Let's get Nick to get us a soda and a snack!"

"Now that's how it's done..."

THE END...

Our family traveled back to the States for three weeks in Sept.  to readopt our girls from the State of Georgia so we are albe to work on getting our residency in Honduras.
After being on the island for over a year, it was a nice treat to see some of our family and friends and eat all of our favorite foods.  The Girls had a ball playing at the soft play in the mall.  I am afraid Hannah will be too big the next time we are at one.
We are back in Roatan and the Lord is ministering to each of us as we re-adjust to life in the mission field.
(I have to say, I have not done a post like this with pics of the girls in soooo long and I have really missed it.  Hopefully will have more time to do it again one day...)
