Divine Appointments...

A solitary man sat in his chair... watching the cars, the people, pass him by... it seemed he was watching life pass him by...  As we were walking up to him I asked our pastor if we could pray for him.
We walked up to him and Aida told him in Spanish that we would like to pray for him.  Each of us placed our hands upon him and we came into agreement as our Pastor lifted up this precious man in prayer.  Aida was translating for him and by the end of the prayer, each person had been touched... each life had been changed.  Holy Spirit was pouring out upon him and us...  Jesus was ministering to this broken spirit... He began to sob.
A couple of us stayed a little longer... not able to bid this man goodbye just yet.  Aida and I prayed a little while longer for him... and talked to him, telling him how much Jesus loves him and that he is with him... He is not alone...

"Divine Appointments"...

William is his name...

"Thank You Jesus for sweet William.  Lord, please bless him, comfort him, and may he know the joy of the Lord... please remind him that he is loved and that he is in our heart and our prayers...
Jesus open our eyes to those around us just waiting for a kind word, a message of Your hope, some one to care. Give us Your boldness of Spirit to go up to them and minister to them in Your Name, in Your love and by Your Spirit."

William I will pray for you and look forward to the day we meet again...

When we got back to the church,  a few of the  children that I see when I close my eyes at night were waiting for us... It was time for a little fun, courtesy of my honey!

Then they all settled down and Jeremy got out one of his gospel tracts and was telling them about Jesus.

It's funny how one day can forever change your life....
