How Many Is Enough...

How many is enough?  With more than 147,000,000 orphaned children in the world, should we not be asking this question?  How many children should a family have?  How many children should YOUR family have???  Is one child enough, two, three, five, nine?  It seems more and more large families fall under scrutiny for the size of their family.  Oft times even coming under verbal attack and condemnation for being "irresponsible" for bringing home another child.  "How can they give their children the things they need?"  "How can they give all of their children enough love?"  The list goes on and on......
I believe the bottom line is WHO should decide how many children a family should be blessed with?  Why do we, as believers and followers of Christ Jesus, (generally speaking) feel that it is up to us to decide the number of children we have?  Should we not be going before the throne of God in prayer and asking Him if we are to add to our family?
I want to challenge each of us to ask Jesus if we have a little one or ones waiting for us somewhere in the world... and if the answer is, "Yes".... then boldly step out in faith as He leads us to our child, provides the way for them to come home, gives us what we need to give them what they need, and to God be the glory for one more child in the world being orphaned NO more.
I pray we let God be the One Who decides how many children is enough for each of our families,
God's speed...
